What a complete breath of fresh it was to work with Scott and his associates! It had taken me some time to pluck up the courage to commit to actually doing something about my garden, it was really in dire need of a change and makeover. It was a very uninviting, overgrown outdoor space which I desperately wished I could simply sit and enjoy, socialise and sip on wine on a warm summers day!!!! Well . . . . a huge thanks to Keith Woods and his landscaping design expertise. Keith instantly understood my dilemma and started work immediately on a design scheme to bring my dream garden to life. Scott MacColl and his team were outstanding. They had the hardest job. Scott and co worked all hours, completely up routing every piece of turf, paving and weeds to make way for the new creation and begin the foundation work for decking at ground level and a fantastic high level slightly cantilevered second deck at the top of the garden. My dream was underway!! Having discussed in detail with both Scott and Keith how we can keep the garden at the lowest maintenance possible for me, they came up with the genius idea of artificial grass. Fantastic, no more lawns to cut uphill!!! The total transformation took around 4-5 weeks with the team working in all weather and with early starts!! It really was a pleasure to work with such a highly professional and committed team. I was always kept informed and decisions made together on certain items. The advice and guidance along the way was second to none. I trusted Scott 100% to make the selection of planting a foliage, as he already knew my view on maintenance. The garden is stunning and now my absolute haven - a welcome extension to my home. We have been socialising to the max since summer and my BBQ skills are slowly improving. Thinking of a Christmas BBQ in the snow . . . what an idea. Thanks to all at Scott MacColl Landscaping and Keith Woods Landscape Design - a great combination.
