Decking

This is often a preferred option for a patio area as well as a simple solution for accommodating level changes. We work with a wide variety of softwood and hardwood.

 

Planting

The planting plan brings life to the ground layout - consideration is given to the aspect, soil, drainage, colour, type, height and texture. Each plant must work singly and in combination with its neighbours.

 

Garden Design
Our designers discuss your ideas and requirements to produce a scale working drawing to meet your needs and satisfaction.

Keith Wood Garden Design, has been providing a high quality design and build garden design service for a number of years in association with MacColl Landscaping.

All gardens are personally viewed and the potential scope and garden limitations are discussed so that the client's aspirations and the site constraints are taken into account within the sketch garden design.

Once the sketch garden design and scope of works have been agreed a detailed hard and soft landscape drawing is prepared using Keyscape LT software.

Regular liaison with Scott MacColl, the client and Keith ensures that the design concept is both attractive, uses high quality natural materials and is readily achievable.

A preliminary cost estimate for the design is normally prepared for client approval & discussion.

Once agreed the design drawings are passed to MacColl Landscaping for construction using high quality materials.

MacColl Landscaping pride themselves in constructing high quality garden designs efficiently and seek to minimise the disruption to the clients.

Regular discussions with the clients and a tidy well run construction is their main aim in completing a garden design.

 

Paving

We make use of a wide range of materials, shapes and colours in patios, paths and driveway construction – including, sandstone, limestone, slate as well as Bradstone, Marshalls, Paver Systems and Pavestone products.

 

Turfing

After ground clearance, rotavation and levelling, we lay Rolawn Medallion as our preferred turf for a good classic finish.
